In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 November at 08:00 AM, a heavy shell, fired by so-called PDF terrorists, landed and exploded on the alms cooking building in the Leditaungpaw monastery of Moebyal Village in Pekon Township in Shan State (Southern). The explosion resulted in injuries to 11 villagers who sought refuge from battles: U Aung Kyaw (50 years old), U Yan Naing Oo (34 years old), Mg Phyo Wai Htoo (20 years old), Mg Htet Linn Oo (16 years old), Mg Htoo Char Aung (15 years old), Mg Kyaw Han Soe (five years old), Daw Hla Yi (44 years old), Daw Mal (40 years old), Daw Hning Mar Aye (39 years old), Ma Soe (31 years old) and Daw Thae Mu (27 years old). They all are currently receiving medical care at the Sao San Tun Public Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:30 PM, a child with bomb shrapnel injuries arrived at the Phyu Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. Upon inspection, Mg Hlan Min Htet (15 years old), son of U Min Min Soe, who lives in Waedaunt Village of Phyu Township, was found with two bomb shrapnel injuries behind his left ear and right thigh. The incident was verified that he was present at home with his family at about 05:30 PM, when so-called PDF terrorists attacked with a drop bomb using a drone in front of the house. The bomb landed and exploded, causing him to sustain the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against the terrorists who attacked with a heavy weapon and drop bomb using a drone onto Villages, aiming to injure innocent civilians, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
