A 16-year-old innocent female was killed, and three males and a female were injured in a deliberate attack with heavy weapons carried out by TNLA members towards Nantphatkar Village of Kutkai Township, Northern Shan State.
The incident occurred that, on 30 August at 10:30 AM, TNLA members launched a deliberate attack with heavy weapons on Nantphatkar Village from a location approximately 500 meters south of the Village. The heavy weapon shells landed and exploded within the Village. As a result of the explosion, a 16-year-old innocent female civilian was killed while three males and a female were injured. Later, TNLA members retreated to the southwest of the Village, it is reported.
Security forces sent the injured people to Kutkai Public Hospital and a local medical military battalion to receive medical treatment. Moreover, the security forces are conducting necessary area security operations in Nantphatkha village and the vicinity, it is reported.
