A Buddhist monk was killed by the brutal gunfire of KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists

     Terrorist organizations are carrying out acts of sabotage within the country, as well as launching heavy weapons and dropping bombs using drone attacks, targeting and destroying religious buildings and monasteries that are sacred to Buddhist people, while also abducting and brutally killing the Buddhist monks, it is found that heartbreakingly.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 September at 08:30 AM, according to the report indicated that KNU members who support terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group shot and killed the abbot U Waiponela (37 years old and 17 years as a monk), who lived in a monastery located in Minkyaing Village of Htantabin Township in Bago Region, security personnel identified the incident. The identification found that on 24 September at 07:30 PM, six terrorists including KNU members who support terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group entered the Village on three motorcycles, and arrested the abbot U Waiponela. When they reached on the Minkyaing-Kyeintawmyaung Road located west of the Village, the terrorists opened fire on the abbot. As a result, the abbot U Waiponela was dead from three gunshot injuries; one to his forehead, one to his neck and one to his left shoulder, it is reported.
     As a result of these acts of terrorism, 87 Buddhist monks and one nun in the state have passed away, and the security personnel are diligently conducting search operations and implementing area lockdowns to apprehend and bring to justice the individuals responsible for the aforementioned incident, it is reported.
