A collaborative group consisting of KNU members, who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, blew up No. (234) electricity tower along the Taungoo-Tharyarkone major power grid near Chauktayar Village in Kyauktaga Township

     On the night of 23 January, a collaborative group comprising of KNU members, who support terrorism, and so-called PDF terrorists, detonated the No. (234) electricity tower along the Taungoo-Tharyarkone major power grid. This tower is located near Chauktayar Village of Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region, resulting in its collapse and damage, it is reported.
     The incident occurred on 23 January, at around 10:00 PM. A report stated that a collaborative group, comprising KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, detonated the No. (234) electricity tower. This tower is part of the major power grid connected to the Taungoo-Tharyarkone sub Power-Station and is located approximately 300 yards west of Chauktayar Village of Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. On 24 January, at 8:00 AM, security personnel arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that the No. (234) electricity tower had collapsed and was damaged due to the explosion, it is reported.
     Responsible officials are now repairing the damaged electricity towers. Meanwhile, security personnel members continue to take necessary measures to pursue punitive legal actions against the terrorists responsible for blowing up the tower. This electricity tower was installed to distribute electricity to the public. Actions are being taken in accordance with the law to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
