     A collaborative group consisting KNU members, who support terrorism, and so-called PDF terrorists, detonated explosives on a railway track in Kyauktaga Township. Their aim was to disrupt traffic and harm innocent people, it is reported.
     The incident occurred that on the No. 901 “Up” freight train during its journey from Mahlakone station to Myohaung station, along the Yangon-Mandalay railway track. The train departed from Panezalote railway station in Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region, on January 31, at 7:35 AM. While traveling near railway track mileposts (103/12-13), located between Panezalote railway station and Kyauktaga railway station in Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region, at approximately 7:42 AM, explosives were detonated near the train by a collaborative group consisting of KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists. As a result, three freight coaches derailed, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
