A destructive group of KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists detonated explosives on Yangon-Mandalay railway track
On 20 February at 9:20 PM, a destructive group consisting KNU members, who support terrorism, and so-called PDF terrorists, detonated explosives on the Yangon-Mandalay railway track near Barbukone Village in Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region.
As a result, approximately 70 feet of the railway track and 36 concrete sleepers on the Railway Bridge No. (145), located between railway milepost 103/6 and 103/7 on the Yangon-Mandalay railway track, were damaged. This included five holes, each approximately five feet in diameter, in the bridge’s floor. There were no reported injuries to individuals, it is reported.
Responsible officials are currently dedicated to speedy repairing the damaged the railway track and security personnel are actively conducting a Counter-Terrorism Operation, it is reported.
