In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 December at 08:25 AM, so-called PDF terrorists carried out an attack using drop bombs launched from a drone within Myaung Town, Sagaing Region. The two drop bombs landed and exploded on a road in North Ward. As a result, Daw Khin San Thint, a senior teacher from Basic Education High School (Myaung), (59 years old), who lives in North Ward, sustained an injury to her right thigh from bomb shrapnel. She is currently receiving medical care at Myaung Township Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, at 01:00 PM, a report stated that a male with bomb shrapnel injuries had been arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Maung Hla (62 years old), who lives in Pansan village of Saw Township, Magway Region, had sustained an injury from bomb shrapnel to his neck. The incident was verified that, on 26 November at 08:30 PM, U Maung Hla was at a monastery in Pansan Village when a mortar shell, fired by so-called PDF terrorists, exploded within the monastery. As a result, U Maung Hla sustaining the aforementioned injury, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who attacked with heavy weapons and dropping bombs using a drone onto Villages, causing innocent civilians to sustain injuries, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
