A female terrorist was injured in an explosion while planting a mine to attempt a terrorist bombing attack within the Township Public Hospital compound in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, it is reported.
The incident occurred that, on 23 October at 10:55 AM, according to the report, an explosion occurred within the Township Public Hospital compound located in No. (5) Ward of Shwebo Township. Security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. The investigation revealed that Daw Pa Pa (30 years old), who lives in No. (7) Ward of Shwebo Township, had entered the hospital compound with the intention of carrying out a terrorist bombing. When she reached near a tree approximately 10 feet north of the hospital head's office within the compound, she was attempting to plant a mine when it detonated prematurely. As a result of the explosion, Daw Pa Pa sustained several injuries, including shrapnel wounds to her face, her left wrist severed, and her right three fingers severed, it is reported.
Security personnel are continue taking necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the terrorist who planted a mine inside the Shwebo Township Public Hospital as soonest in accordance with the law, it is reported.
