A Man and three Women were injured, and a Residential House along with related Materials were destroyed Due to a reckless Bombing and Heavy Arms Attack Carried out by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Wetlet and Pale Townships

    In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
    The incident happened that, on 19 April at 10:55 AM, so-called PDF terrorists dropped bombs using two drones on No.(1) Ward of Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region. The attack was launched from Latpanpin (locally known as) located at the exit of Wetlet Town. Drop bombs exploded on the houses of U Kaung Myat Thu, 38 years old (Father) U Shwe Htay and U Maung Oo, 57 years old (Father) U Lay Maung, who both live in this Ward. As a result of the explosions, a refrigerator, two rice cookers, 10 plates, two zinc roofs and a wall of bamboo matting were damaged. U Maung Oo’s wife Daw Myint Htay, 57 years old (Father) U Phoe Htwar and his daughter Ma Nwe Hnin Thu, 30 years old, sustained bomb injuries and were transported to the Wetlet Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 12:10 PM, so-called PDF terrorists opened fire improvised mortars towards Zeephyukon Village in Pale Township. The attack was launched from a field located 600 meters northeast of the Village. Fifteen mortar bombs exploded in the Village, causing Daw Hla Kyi, 73 years old (Father) U San Pu and her son Mg Nyein Chan Zaw, 16 years old (Father) U Paw Oo to sustain bomb injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against the so-called PDF terrorists who recklessly dropped bombs and opened fire heavy weapons on the Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside, as soonest in accordance with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
