In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 May at 07:30 AM, while officials repaired two 33 KVA 12-meter electric poles which were destroyed by a terrorist mine attack, located near a reinforced concrete (RC) bridge on the Kyaukgyi-Natthankwin road in Naunggon Village of Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region, a terrorist group (under scrutiny) dropped bombs using a drone. Two drop bombs fell and exploded near electric poles. As a result of the explosion, A part-time employee of Township Development Committee, U Min Thein, 48 years old, (Father) U Ba Win, who lived in Baungbote Ward of Kyaukgyi Township, was dead from bomb injuries. Additionally, U Ko Ko Aung, 45 years old, (Father) U Kyi, who lives in Natthankwin (3) Ward, sustained bomb injuries and was transported to the Kyaukgyi Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:45 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number - under scrutiny) dropped bombs using drones from Thargounggyi Village of Taze Township towards a monastery compound located 100 yards northeast of Sargon Village in Kambalu Township, Sagaing Region. The drop bombs exploded inside the monastery compound, causing U Zaw Naing, 32 years old (Father) U Paw Kar, U Aung Myint Naing, 30 years old (Father) U Nyo Tin, U Phoe Lone, 43 years old (Father) U Bo Lay, U Win Min Tun, 39 years old (Father) U Cho, U Kyaw Win Aung, 35 years old (Father) U Win Swe, U Kyaw Myint Swe, 42 years old (Father) U Kar Nit and U Maung Nge (aka) Aung Myint Kyaw, 25 years old (Father) U Nyo Tin, who all live in Sargon Village and were presented in the monastery compound, to sustain bomb injuries. All injured individuals were transported to the Kambalu Township Public hospital for medical treatment, however, U Zaw Naing and U Aung Myint Naing were dead from bombs injuries while being transported to the hospital, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against the so-called PDF terrorists who recklessly dropped bombs as soonest in accordance with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
