A terrorist died in a homemade mine explosion while planting the mine to attempt a terrorist bombing attack in Myaung Township

     It is found that extremist terrorist insurgents are engaging in acts of terrorism with the intention of causing harm to both peaceful civilians and administrative officials who work in law enforcement.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 August at 12:00 PM, according to the report that an explosion had occurred near the “Gabar Hein” teashop located approximately 30 feet north of the Myaung-Paraimma Road in North Ward of Myaung Township in Sagaing Region, security personnel dispatched to the scene and conducted an inspection. Upon inspection, it is found that Ko Ko Maung, 20 years old (Father) U Ko Ko Lwin, who lived in Myothit Ward, was attempting to plant a homemade mine, when the mine detonated prematurely. As a result of the explosion, Ko Ko Maung died from injuries caused by the mine shrapnel. Additionally, pieces of PVC pipe and a NRC (National Registration Card) were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are opening an inquest file on his death in accordance with police procedures.
