In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
The incident happened that, on 18 April at 09:00 AM, the so-called PDF terrorist (total number – under scrutiny) opened fire improvised mortars towards Myawady Ward in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region. The attach was launched from “Seintaw” and “Kyaungpan” monasteries. Two mortar bombs exploded in the house yard of Daw Moe Kyi, 75 years old, (Father) U Ba Thein, who lives in this Ward. The explosion caused Daw Moe Kyi to sustain bomb injuries, and she was transported to the Budalin Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 10:30 AM, the KIA insurgent group and so-called PDF terrorist groups dropped bombs using a drone on Myazayar ward in Hopin Town of Mohnyin Township in Kachin State. One of the bombs exploded on the Hopin Town Development Affairs Office. As a result of the explosion, two zinc roofs of the office building were damaged, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against the so-called PDF terrorists who recklessly dropped bombs and opened fire heavy weapons on the Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside, as soonest in accordance with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
