A woman was killed due to wantonly and recklessly attack with small arms on a vehicle carrying innocent civilians by so-called PDF terrorists in Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region.
The incident occurred that, on 19 April at 09:30 AM, a MDY-1K/xxxx Honda Fit vehicle driven by Ko Tun Maung, 39 years old, (Father) U San Myint, who lives in Thaungthonelone Village, was carrying Daw Khin Pyone Myint, 65 years old, (Father) U Ba Yi, and her grand-daughter Ma Thae Nu Shwe Sin, 15 years old, (Father) U That Zaw Htut, who both live in Kyaukmaetaung Village of Dawei Township in Tanintharyi Region. They were traveling from Dawei Township to Kyaukmaetaung Village. When they arrived near Thatyetngote Village, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number - under scrutiny) wantonly fired with small arms. As a result of the firing, Ma Thae Nu Shwe Sin was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security force members continue necessary measures to identify and arrest the terrorists who recklessly opened fire a vehicle carrying innocent civilians, as soonest in accordance with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
