Administrative officials and innocent civilians were killed by so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies', 'informants' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 March at 8:30 PM, Wunya Village Group Administrator, U Min Aung (51 years old) and his wife, Daw San Myint (39 years old), who both live in Kankone Village, Salin Township, Magway Region, were in their house when approximately 40 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and initiated gunfire. As a result, U Min Aung escape from the scene, Daw San Myint sustained gunshot injuries. Additionally, the terrorists appropriated a Light Truck vehicle, a NISSAN vehicle in the village’s monastery and a tractor (Type- ZOOLION), owned by U Min Aung. Daw San Myint was transported to Linzin Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, on 30 March at 1:45 PM, a report stated that a man was killed and a woman was injured by gunfire in Deedoakkone Village, Pyawbwe Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Village Administrator, U Soe Tint (54 years old), his wife, Daw Khin Myaing and Daw Yin May (46 years old), who all live in the village, were having lunch in his house, when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Soe Tint died from gunshot injuries, while Daw Yin May sustained gunshot injuries. The deceased and injured were transported to Taungnyaungkone Circuit Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases, it is reported.
