Administrative officials and innocent civilians were killed by so-called PDF terrorists

     In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 March at 10:30 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire at the “Shwelatpwar” tea shop in No. (8) Ward, Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Village Administrator, U Nan Nwe Oo (aka) Ko Nan (42 years old), who lived in No (4) Ward, was inside the tea shop when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing the scene. As a result, U Nan Nwe Oo (aka) Ko Nan died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 10:55 AM, a report stated that a man was killed and a woman was injured by gunfire at the “Kaung Kaung” snack shop in Taungthusu Ward, Kyaikto Township, Mon State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Nay Min Kyi (52 years old) a shop owner, and Daw Ohmar Htway (51 years old) an employee, were inside the shop when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on them before fleeing the scene. As a result, U Nay Min Kyi died from gunshot injuries, while Daw Ohmar Htway, who also sustained gunshot injuries, and was transported to Kyaikto District Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 8:30 PM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Aimal Village, Myothit Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ko Nay Lin Aung (35 years old), who lived in the village, was in his house when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire him before fleeing the scene. As a result, Ko Nay Lin Aung died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases, it is reported.
