Administrative officials and innocent civilians were killed by so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 March at 10:00 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Nyaungpinthar Village, Phyu Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Village Administrator, U Kyi Hlaing (60 years old), who lived in the village, was having breakfast in a fried rice shop located next to his office, when a so-called PDF terrorist arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Kyi Hlaing died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 3:00 PM, a report stated that a man was injured by gunfire near Zeekhya Village, Yebyu Township, Tanintharyi Region. As the vehicle was passing between Ye-Dawei road mileposts 8/2 and 8/3, located near Zeekhya Village, a so-called PDF terrorist group opened fire from approximately 50 meters away on the left side of the road. As a result, the vehicle’s front windshield and left door were damaged. Additionally, U Pyae Phyo Paing sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to Dawei District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 6:00 PM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Wetkhautsein Village, Taungoo Township, Bago Region.
