Administrative officials and innocent civilians were killed by so-called PDF terrorists using guns and knives

     In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 April, 2024 at 9:15 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in No. (5) Ward, Yaesagyo Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Phoe Min (aka) U Aung Swe Min (51 years old) who lived in the ward, was at a shop located in front of his younger sister, Daw Yi Yi San’s house who also lives in the same ward when three so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Phoe Min (aka) U Aung Swe Min died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 8:15 PM, a report stated that a man was killed and another was injured by gunfire in Kanchaung Village, Sinpaungwe Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Thawa (65 years old) who lived in the village, was in his house with his son, U Soe Thu (38 years old), when six so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Thawa died from gunshot injuries, while U Soe Thu sustained gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 8:40 PM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Malzale Village, Pwintphyu Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Htay Min (44 years old) who lived in the village, was in his house when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Htay Min died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, on 26 April, at 7:00 AM a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Pyaungkhin (South) Village, Salin Township. Security personnel conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Myint Swe (49 years old) who lived in the village, was in his house when three so-called PDF terrorists arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on him. As a result, U Myint Swe died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 7:10 AM, a report stated that a man was injured by gunfire in Gangaw Ward, Kyaikto Township, Mon State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Kyaw (aka) Kyaw Kyaw Oo (48 years old) who lives in Kyaikpi Village, was at a motorcycle transportation gate located at the corner of Bogyoke Street and the Hospital Street. At this location, two so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on him. As a result, U Kyaw (aka) Kyaw Kyaw Oo sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to Kyaikto Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of administrative officials and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases, it is reported.
