Administrative officials and innocent civilians were shot and killed by so-called PDF terrorists

     In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers “Anyone with differing views is an enemy” are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being “spies, informants or decoys” to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 April at 9:00 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire near Kyauk-Oae Village, Salin Township, Magway Region. Security personnel conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that on 8 April at 9:30 PM, U Than Win (42 years old), who lived in the village, was in his house with his family when five so-called PDF terrorists arrived and detained him. Later, on the roadside of the Khintpalu-Kyauk Oae road, located approximately one mile northeast of the village, these terrorists opened fire on U Than Win. As a result, U Than Win died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, on 9 April at 9:30 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in No. (1) Ward, Ayardaw Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ward Administrator, U Aung Kyi (59 years old), who lived in the ward, was returning home alone on his motorcycle from Ayardaw Myoma market. As he approached a wayside public’s rest-house in No. (1) Ward, four so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Kyi died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, on 10 April at 12:05 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by both gunfire and knife attacks in Myanadi Village, Myintthar Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a 100-household elder, U Myo Naing (45 years old), who lived in the village, was in his house when two so-called PDF terrorists, arrived and assaulted him with gunfire, stabbings and slashes. As a result, U Myo Naing died from both gunshot and knife wounds, it is reported.
     Similarly, on 10 April at 8:25 AM, a 100-household elder, U Soe Myint Oo, also known as Pauksi (or) Win Bo (46 years old), who lived in No. (2) Ward, Taungtha Township, was sitting alone on a bench near the junction of the Taungtha-Zajan Road and Taungtha -Myingyan Road. At that time, two so-called PDF terrorists, arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, U Soe Myint Oo, also known as Pauksi (or) Win Bo, succumbed to his gunshot wounds, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of administrative officials and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases, it is reported.
