An Administrative Official and Innocent Civilians Recklessly Assassinated by Terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys.” This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 3 November, 2024 at 5:00 AM, a report stated that two men were shot dead in Bant Pyin Village, Minhla Township of Magway Region. While the victim was returning to his village on his motorcycle from Mandalay City, five so-called PDF terrorists forced him to stop near Shwe Kyin Kwat Thit Village and took him near Tha Yat Kan Village, where they stabbed him. As a result, the victim sustained knife injuries, it is reported.

When the vehicle reached near Shwe Pan Taw Village, four so-called PDF terrorists, who had been waiting for them, opened fire and then fled. As a result, U Kyaw Kyaw and Ko Min Aung died on the spot, while Ma Zin Mar was unharmed, it is reported.
