An innocent civilian from Htantapin Township and a Village Administrator from Myothit Township, were shot and killed by so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 January at 08:00 PM, U Tin Oo (71 years old), who lived in Zayetgyi Village of Htantapin Township, Bago Region, was at home with his family during a power outage, he has to run the power generator for the electricity. Upon the restoration of electricity, U Tin Oo went to the base of his house to switch off the generator. While on the road in front of his house, approximately five so-called PDF terrorists fired around 14 shots at him before fleeing away. Tragically, U Tin Oo was dead from a bullet penetrating injury to his chest during the incident. Security personnel later discovered 14 spent 5.56 bullet shells on the road in front of U Tin Oo’s house, which were seized as evidence, it is reported.
Likewise, at 08:05 PM, a report stated that Village Administrator U Zaw Win (58 years old), who lived in Aoe-kone Village of Myothit Township, Magway Region, was shot and killed by so-called PDF terrorists. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Zaw Win was dead from a bullet penetrating through right parietal area of his head to the occiput, and another bullet passing through his back to his abdomen. This occurred in front of his house. The incident was verified that on the same day around 07:30 PM, while U Zaw Win was at home, four so-called PDF terrorists (under investigation) entered his yard and opened fire on him. As a result, U Zaw Win was dead from aforementioned injuries and the deceased was transported to Myothit Township Public Hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilian in the abovementioned cases. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
