Terrorist insurgents have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 27 July, 2024 at 2:45 PM, security personnel received a report stating that a woman with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Daw Ni Lar Aye (40 years old) a resident of Wa Thon Da Ya Village in Madaya Township. The incident occurred at 8:30 AM on the same day when a heavy weapon shell fired by a terrorist group exploded within the victim’s village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed insurgents and terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards, and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
