An innocent civilian was injured and a house was damaged in an attack involving drone-dropped bombs within the village, carried out by a so-called PDF terrorist group

     In States and Regions insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on April 21, 2024, at 6:05 PM, a so-called PDF Terrorist group used a drone to drop bombs in Thayetkwa Village, Myaing Township, Magway Region. The bombs exploded within the village, injuring Mg Hlaing Phyo Chit (18 years old). He sustained injuries from the bomb shrapnel and is currently receiving medical treatment at a clinic in the village. Additionally, one house was damaged by the explosion, it is reported.
     Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incident involving an attack with drone-dropped bombs, which resulted in the injuries and damage described previously. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
