     An innocent civilian was injured due to a reckless small arms attack on a passenger vehicle carried out by so-called PDF terrorists in Yebyu Township of Tanintharyi Region, it is reported.
     The incident occurred that, on 19 September at 08:35 PM, a White 2G/XXXX Probox vehicle, driven by U Kyaw Moe Min (30 years old) and carrying four passengers including U Pyae Phyo Zaw (32 years old), came under attack by a group of approximately 30 so-called PDF terrorists attacked with small arms. The attack occurred as the vehicle approached the area between Tharyarmon Village and (60) Mile Village along the Ye-Dawei Road in Yebyu Township, Tanintharyi Region. As a result of the attack, among four passengers, U Pyae Phyo Zaw sustained a bullet penetrating injury to his left thigh. He was transported to the Kalainaung Town Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against the terrorists who recklessly attacked the passenger vehicle with small arms, causing injuries to an innocent civilian, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
