An innocent civilian was injured in a drone-dropped bomb attack carried out by a group of KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, in village

     In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 March at 00:05 AM, a group of the KNU members, who support terrorism along with so-called PDF terrorists, used a drone to drop bombs on Zeekone Village, Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. One of the bombs exploded in front of the house of Ko Yan Paing Soe (31 years old), who lives in the village. As a result, Ko Yan Paing Soe sustained injuries bomb shrapnel and was transported to Kyauktaga Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incident involving an attack with bombs dropped from a drone, which led to the injuries mentioned earlier. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
