In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 30 October at 02:45 AM, so-called PDF terrorists dropped bombs using two drones onto Yaylalkyun Village in Kani Township of Sagaing Region. Five bombs landed and exploded within the Village, while another bomb landed and exploded on the house of U Than Ngwe (73 years old) who lives in the southern part of the Village. As a result of the explosion, U Than Ngwe sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel on the left side of his body. Security personnel provided necessary medical care for him, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who wantonly with drop bombs using drones onto Yaylalkyun Village, causing an innocent civilian to sustain injuries, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
