An innocent civilian was killed, and another was injured in a drone-dropped bomb attack perpetrated by so-called PDF terrorists within a residential Villages

In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 30 December at 12:00 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group wantonly dropped bombs by drone on Nyaungtho Village of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region. The bombs fell and exploded within the village, causing the death of U Aung Theik (39 years old), who lived in this village, due to bomb shrapnel. Additionally, U San Khine (42 years old), who also lives in this village, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and was transported to Myingyan Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who used a drone to drop bombs, resulting in the death and injuries of innocent civilians within the Village in the aforementioned case. This action aligns with the law and aims to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
