An innocent woman was injured due to the reckless firing of an improvised mortar by so-called PDF terrorists towards a Village in Yinmarpin Township

      In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 June at 10:00 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) recklessly opened fire with an improvised mortar (under scrutiny) towards (Kagyi) Ward in Yinmarpin Township, Sagaing Region. The attack was launched from a location approximately 600 meters west of the Ward. A mortar bomb fell and exploded in the house yard of Ma Win Win Nwe, 40 years old, (Father) U Saw Win, who lives in this Ward, causing Ma Win Win Nwe to sustain injuries from the blast. She was transported to a military clinic in Yinmarpin Town for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who recklessly opened fire with an improvised mortar towards a Ward where innocent civilians reside, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
