     An insurgent group (under scrutiny) blew up two train bridges in Mohnyin Township of Kachin State, it is reported.
    The incident occurred that, on 6 September at 07:30 AM, a report indicated that an insurgent group (under scrutiny) detonated mines at two train bridges in Mohnyin Township of Kachin State. On the same day, at 09:15 AM, a collaborative group, including security personnel, conducted an inspection at the No. (630) Ngarmilechaung train bridge (locally known as) located on the Mandalay-Myintkyinar railway mile post between 656/16 and 656/18 and situated approximately 700 yards north of Ngarmile Village in Mohnyin Township, between Hopin railway station and Nankhwin railway station. According to the investigation, it is found that five sleepers, two cross girders, two cross bracings, two running ways, two guard ways and a water pier of the bridge were damaged by the explosion. Moreover, at 04:00 PM, a collaborative group, including security personnel, conducted an inspection at the Thawutchaung train bridge (locally known as), which is approximately 80 feet long, located on the Mandalay-Myintkyinar railway mile post between 654/7 and 654/8 and situated between Mohnyin Township and Mogaung Township. According to the investigation, it is found that the 3rd pier of the bridge was damaged by the explosion. Responsible officials are currently working on repairing the damaged bridges, it is reported.
    Security personnel are continue taking necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the terrorists who blew up the train bridges as soonest in accordance with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
