On 7 August at 11:20 AM, while the security personnel were carrying out security measures, they discovered and confiscated four uniforms bearing so-called PDF terrorist group badges, a HK-33 gun, an AK-47 gun, two M-22 guns, two homemade guns, a homemade pistol, 326 rounds of assorted ammunition, an MG-1 grenade, nine drop bombs, five pieces of guerrilla equipment, two black bed sheets, a pistol holster, two black military food containers, a black backpack and four NRCs (National Registration Cards). These items were found and seized in a non-residential upland field hut located beside the lahe-Hkamti Road in Lahe Township of Sagaing Region, it is reported.
It has been reported that security personnels systematically seized and cleared arms, ammunition and related materials found in the above case, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
