Bridge No. 3/17 on Bilin–Nat Kyi Road in Mon State Blown Up by KNLA Group and So-Called PDF Terrorists

     The terrorists are carrying out various acts of violence in different forms, including planting and detonating mines on roads and bridges, in an attempt to disrupt transportation, hinder the flow of goods within the region and obstruct civilian movement.
     On the morning of May 26 2025, the KNLA group and so-called PDF terrorists planted and detonated explosives to destroy Bridge No.3/17, a reinforced concrete bridge measuring 80 feet in length and 24 feet in width. The bridge is located between mileposts 16/2 and 16/3 on the Bilin-Nat Kyi Road, approximately 300 meters west of Ta Nyin Pin Village in Bilin Township, Mon State. As a result of the explosion, the southern abutment of the bridge collapsed, rendering it impassable for both pedestrians and vehicles. The responsible authorities are currently undertaking urgent repair works to restore the damaged bridge as quickly as possible, it is reported.
      Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
