Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 18 May 2025 at 6:50 PM, a report stated that a child with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Waingmaw Township Public Hospital of Kachin State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they identified the victim as Mg Yaw Li (10 years old), a resident of Ni Khu De Village in Waingmaw Township. The incident occurred when a group of KIA insurgents, along with so-called PDF terrorists, fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village, causing his injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent people have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
