Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 17 May 2025 at 8:30 AM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Kyon Doe Station Hospital in Khyon Doe Town, Kawkareik Township of Kayin State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they identified the victim as Ma San Thida Oo (26 years old), a lower clerk of Kyon Doe Town General Administration Department and resident of No.1 Ward in Khyon Doe Town of Kawkareik Township. The incident occurred when a terrorist faction fired improvised rockets into the victim’s ward, causing her injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards, and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent people have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
