Civil Servants and Innocent Civilians Recklessly Assassinated by So-called PDF Terrorists

    In some townships across States and Regions, so-called PDF terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 2 August, 2024 at 10:00 PM, while U Ko Ko Lin Maung (31 years old), a junior assistant teacher at Kan Gyi Village Basic Education Primary School, U Tin Tun (aka) Phoe Kar (49 years old) and U Ar Zar Ni (aka) Tin Shwe (31 years old) all residents of Aut Taw Village in Tada-U Township of Mandalay Region, were at their respective houses, a so-called PDF terrorist group arrived and opened fire on them, resulting in their deaths, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 10:30 PM, while U Kyaw San (52 years old) a resident of Tha Man Village in Tada-U Township, was at his home, a so-called PDF terrorist group arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Kyaw San died on the spot, it is reported.
    Similarly, on 3 August  at 12:00 PM, a report stated that a man and two women were shot dead in Tha Phan Village, Mahlaing Township. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that while Daw Wai Wai Maw     (26 years old), a resident of the village, was at her house with U Aung Min (66 years old) and Daw Myint Khin (54 years old) also residents of the village, approximately 50 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on them. As a result, they died on the spot, it is reported.
    Similarly, on 3 August  at 1:45 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Phut Tie Village, Kyaukse Township. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Phoe Pu (aka) U Aung Mying (53 years old) a resident of the village. The victim was returning home alone on his motorcycle from Kyaukse Town. When he arrived near Phut Tie Village, two so-called PDF terrorists who had been following him on a motorcycle, opened fire on him. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.
    Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and assassinations of a civil servant and innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.
