Civil service personnel and innocent civilians were injured while a departmental building and office equipment were destroyed as a result of the reckless firing with a heavy weapon and dropping bombs using drones by terrorist groups towards Wards and Villages in Kyarinseikkyi, Kawkareik and Kyaukgyi Townships

      In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 7 June at 08:00 AM, an insurgent group and a so-called PDF terrorist group dropped bombs using a drone on the Township Immigration Department office in Kyarinseikkyi Township, Kayin State. A drop bomb fell and exploded on the office, causing damage to 150 zinc roofs, a copier, a colour printer and two wall-mounted shelves within the office, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 09:20 AM, an insurgent group and a so-called PDF terrorist group opened fire with a heavy weapon from Tatankuu Village towards Nantkawtoe Village in Kawkareik Township. The projectiles fired from the heavy weapon landed and exploded near the Shwenattaung monastery in the Village. The explosion caused Ma Lwin Lwin Than, 36 years old (Father) U Myin Aung, who lives in Nantkawtoe Village, to sustain injuries from bomb shrapnel and was transported to the Hpa-an Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Likewise, at 11:35 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group dropped bombs using a drone on Theintan Ward in Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region. The drop bombs fell and exploded within the Township Administration Department office compound. As a result of the explosions, the windshields of the Township Administrator’s house, two department-owned motor vehicles were damaged, while junior clerk Daw Noe Noe Nyein, 27 years old (Father) U Thein Aye, office helper Daw Saung Yadi, 24 years old (Father) U Htein Lin Kyaw, and cleaner Daw Aye Chan Myint, 23 years old (Father) U Myat Soe, who all were present near the scene at the time of explosions, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel, it is reported.
      Security personnel are investigating the incidents to take punitive action against terrorists who recklessly opened fire with a heavy weapon and dropped bombs using drones towards the Wards and Villages where innocent civilians reside, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
