Civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians were shot and killed by so-called PDF terrorists

     In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 April at 9:30 AM, a report stated that a man was injured by gunfire in Myoma Ward, Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Kyaw Aye (55 years old), the deputy assistant supervisor of the Chaung-U Township Education Commissioner’s Office and resident of Room No. (301), Building No. (2) in the ward, was walking on the building’s verandah when a so-called PDF terrorist group opened fire on him from the southeast of the building. As a result, U Kyaw Aye sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the No. (4) Military Hospital (300-bedded) in Monywa Town for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 2:05 PM, a report stated that two men were killed by gunfire in Tagontie Village, Kyaukpadaung Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Thein Myint (65 years old) and his son, U Win Min Thant (41 years old), who both lived in the village, were in their home when six so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, they died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 5:05 PM, a report stated that a woman was killed by gunfire in Zeint Village, Sinpaungwe Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Bay Be (aka) Mi Pyo Tin (49 years old), who lived in the village, was in her house when three so-called PDF terrorists, arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on her before fleeing. As a result, Daw Bay Be (aka) Mi Pyo Tin died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, on 9 April at 9:05 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Pauktawwa Ward, Insein Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ward Administrator, U Htay Myint (62 years old), who lived in the ward, was dining at Daw Than Than Maw’s Mohinga shop when two so-called PDF terrorists, arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Htay Myint died from gunshot wounds, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of civil service, administrative official, and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases, it is reported.
