Civil services and administrative officials were killed by so-called PDF terrorists

     In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 5 April at 8:15 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire at a tea shop near the Lawkamarazein Pagoda in Kantaung Village, Sinku Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a 100-household elder, U Aung Moe Oo (48 years old), who lived in the village, was inside the tea shop when five so-called PDF terrorists arrived on five motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Moe Oo died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 12:50 PM, a report stated that a man was injured by gunfire at the “Aung Kyaw Swar” tea shop in Nweyone Village, Sinku Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a 100-household elder, U Tun Tun Oo (49 years old), who lived in the village, was inside the tea shop when a so-called PDF terrorist arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Tun Tun Oo sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to Sinku Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 10:55 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire on the Saikaung-Natmauk roadside in Kanpyo Village, Natmauk Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Nay Aung (37 years old), a junior assistant teacher at the Basic Education Middle School in Kwingyi Village, who lived in the village, was in a motorcycle repair shop when a so-called PDF terrorist group arrived and detained. Subsequently, when the terrorists reached the site, they opened fire on U Nay Aung. As a result, U Nay Aung died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of civil service and administrative officials in the abovementioned cases, it is reported.
