In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, civil service personnel and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 November at 07:30 AM, Dr. Kyaw Min Oo (51 years old), a Township staff officer from Kyaukse Township Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, who lives in Kyatmintun Ward of Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region, was leaving his home with his wife in his motor vehicle to open and sell his “Kyaw” pet store located in Ayemyakyilin Ward. When they arrived in front of the store and got out of the vehicle, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who were waiting for them, opened fire on Dr. Kyaw Min Oo before fleeing. As a result, Dr. Kyaw Min Oo sustained a bullet penetrating injury to his left forearm. He is currently receiving medical care at the Mandalay Public Hospital, having been transferred from Kyaukse Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against a civil service personnel based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
