Education Staff, Students and Innocent Civilians Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Saydoktaya Township of Magway Region

     Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terrorists and criminal activities including abducting and extorting money from civil servants families, local civilians and students, as well as killings.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 24 May 2025 at 7:00 AM, the following individuals were waiting for a motorboat at Pwint Tauk Village jetty to travel to their respective destinations Daw Phyo Wai Myint (30 years old), a senior assistant teacher from the Sub Basic Education High School in Yae Thaung Village Daw Cho Tha Zin Oo (26 years old), an assistant primary teacher from the Basic Education Primary School in Taung Han Dauk Village Mg Zaw Zaw Aung (20 years old), first years student Ma Nway Nway Hlaing (21 years old), third years student and Ma Khin Moe Wai (20 years old), third years student- the three students from Maggwe Education College Ma Khin Su Su Hlaing (20 years old), second years student from Pakokku Education College U Hla Moe (48 years old), father of Ma Khin Moe Wai, U Than Tun (56 years old), father of Ma Nway Nway Hlaing and Ma Pa Pa Win (29 years old), all individuals from Let Pan Kyin Village in Saydoktaya Township of Magway Region.  While they were waiting, a so-called PDF terrorist group arrived and abducted all nine individuals, taking them toward Man Gyi Village, located about three miles north of Pwint Tauk Village, it is reported.
     In response to the incident, security personnel are conducting ongoing operations in line with standard procedures to ensure the prompt rescue of the abducted individuals and to bring the perpetrators to justice, it is reported.
