Five Innocent Civilians, including Two Children, Injured in Drone Bomb Attack on Village by terrorists

     Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets, and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 14 October, 2024 at 2:00 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group conducted a drone attack, dropping bomb, on Gawt Inn Village in Launglon Township of Tanintharyi Region. One of the bomb exploded within the village. As a result, Daw Thein Yi (52 years old), Ma Thet Thet Wai (21 years old), Ma Nu Nu Hlaing (20 years old),  Ma Hnin Wint Wah (13 years old) and Mg Shine Wana Aung (eight years old), all residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Dawei District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
