In states and regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 December at 08:20 AM, a report stated that the arrival of individuals injured by bomb shrapnel at Paenwekone Circuit Hospital in Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Toe (58 years old), Daw Ohmar Win (45 years old) and Ko Khant Thura Maung (27 years old), who all live in Kyaungsoe Village of Kyauktaga, had sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel to their hands and thighs. The incident was verified to have occurred on 26 December at 02:30 PM when so-called PDF terrorists dropped a bomb using a drone from Ohmnhalpin Village towards Kyaungsoe Village, and exploded. As a result, they sustaining the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 07:00 PM, a report stated that the arrival of individuals injured by bomb shrapnel at Mandalay Public hospital. Security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Khin Thae (79 years old) and Daw Mya Lwin (57 years old), who both live in Moetarlay Village of Katha Township, Sagaing Region, had sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel to their hands and legs. The incident was comfirmed to have taken place on 26 December around 11:30 AM, when a heavy weapon shell, fired by so-called PDF terrorists, exploded within Moetarlay Village. As a result, they sustaining the aforementioned injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against the terrorists responsible for the drone bombing and the use of heavy weapons in these attacks. These attacks resulted in injuries among innocent civilians, as mentioned earlier. This response aligns with the law and seeks to uphold stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
