In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 7 November at 02:15 PM, a report indicated that a male individual with bomb shrapnel injuries arrived at the Mandalay Public Hospital. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. Upon inspection, U Aung Si Hein (31 years old), who lives in Zayyone Botae Ward of Kawlin Town in Sagaing, was found with a bomb shrapnel injury to his right arm. The incident was verified that, on 4 November at 09:00 AM, while he was present in his home, a mortar shell, fired by so-called PDF terrorists, landed and exploded within the house, causing him to sustain the aforementioned injury, it is reported.
Likewise, on 7 November at 08:40 PM, a mortar shell, fired by KIA members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, landed and exploded on the Manpone-Kyankhinn Village Road in Kyankhinn Village of Momauk Township in Kachin State. As a result of the explosion, U Maung Sai (50 years old), Ko Naing Lin Oo (25 years old), Daw Lunt Phane (50 years old) and Daw Hla Yone (42 years old), sustained bomb shrapnel injuries and are currently receiving medical care at the Momauk Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who attacked with heavy weapons and drop bombs using a drone, resulting in the deaths and injuries of innocent civilians, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
