Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 8 May 2025 at 11:15 AM, a report stated that a man, two women and a child with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the injured victims were identified as U San Myint (72 years old), Daw Khin Hnin Swe (69 years old), Daw Mya Mya (57 years old) and Ma Poe Than Sin (nine years old), all residents of Mya Kan Thar Village in Patheingyi Township. In the incident, a terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village, causing injuries to the above-mentioned civilians, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets into towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, civilian casualties have been reported. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
