Four innocent civilians sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel in an explosion near residential houses, resulting from a reckless drop bombs attack using a drone carried out by KNU group who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists on Myatnikwin Village in Oaktwin Township, Bago Region, it is reported.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 August at 02:00 PM, some member of KNU group who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists recklessly attacked with two drop bombs using a drone on Myatnikwin Village in Oaktwin Township, Bago Region. One of the drop bombs fell and exploded near the house of U Htay Win located at the edge of the Village, while the other landed and exploded near the poultry farm of U Chit Thu. As a result of the explosions, U Htay Win’s wife Daw Khin Myo Thant, 34 years old, and his daughter Ma Htet Myat Myat Wai, 14 years old, as well as employees of the poultry farm; U Kyaw Win Sein, 48 years old, and Daw Cho (aka) Daw Khin Soe, 56 years old, sustained bomb shrapnel injuries and were transported to the Nyaungchayhtauk Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists responsible for causing injuries to innocent civilians, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
