Homemade mines, arms, ammunition and Related Materials Intended for using in Terrorist Attacks were seized in Hpakant Township

      To prevent terrorist attacks in various regions and states, ensure stability and peace in the region, enforce the rule of law, and ensure that people can live safely and peacefully, security forces are carrying out necessary security measures around the clock.
      On 28 April at 06:30 AM, security personnel were carrying out security measures near Satemu Village in Hpakant Township, Kachin State. According to a tip-off from local civilians who oppose terrorism, security personnel inspected a house (under scrutiny) in No. (4) Ward of Satemu Village. They found and seized one M-4 gun, seven homemade guns, 576 rounds of assorted bullet, 15 40-mm bombs, one China-made pull-string grenade, 12 homemade mines, 10 homemade bombs, 13 rounds of homemade bullet, 27 electric homemade mine (shell), two remote control, five remote keypad phones, three remote control mine switches, 14 assorted magazines, two KIA-made land mines, one drone, two drone controllers, 10 drop bombs, 10 gun powder sticks, seven fuse coils, 15 wire coils, seven electric fuses, one compass, one binocular, one walkie talkie, 10 uniform shirts with KIA/PDF arm badges, five uniform pants, one bulletproof vest, six backpacks, six handcuffs, 12 9-Volt batteries and other related materials, it is reported.
      It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade guns and related materials found in the above cases, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
