Homemade mines, arms, ammunition and Related Materials Intended for using in Terrorist Attacks were seized in Some Townships

     To prevent terrorist attacks in various regions and states, ensure stability and peace in the region, enforce the rule of law, and ensure that people can live safely and peacefully, security forces are carrying out necessary security measures around the clock.
      On 19 April at 12:10 PM, security personnel were carrying out security measures near Ngashan Village of Chaung-U Township in Sagaing Region. Four improvised rockets, three motorcycle battery pots and a wire were found and seized on the right side of the Chaung-U – Myinmu Road. These items were set up by so-called PDF terrorists to launch attacks towards Ward and Villages, where innocent civilians reside, it is reported.
Likewise, at 05:40 PM, during security personnel were carrying out security measures near Sintalae Village in Ayartaw Township, a so-called PDF terrorist group (under scrutiny) detonated homemade mines and ambushed with heavy and small arms. When security responded, the terrorists retreated to a forest located south of the Village. The security personnel conducted an inspection around the scene, and it is found and seized five improvised mortars, 22 homemade mines, four homemade bombs, six homemade grenades, three homemade smoothbore guns, 50 rounds of 12-bore bullet, a gun powder, six motorcycle battery pots and a backpack, inside the Village Buddhist chapel, it is reported.
      It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade guns and related materials found in the above cases, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
