Homemade mines, arms, ammunition and Related Materials Intended for using in Terrorist Attacks were seized in Some Townships

      To prevent terrorist attacks in various regions and states, ensure stability and peace in the region, enforce the rule of law, and ensure that people can live safely and peacefully, security forces are carrying out necessary security measures around the clock.
      On 18 April at 06:00 AM, security personnel were carrying out security measures near Kyaukyaeo (North) village of Budalin Township, Sagaing Region. They found and seized one homemade gun, seven rounds of 12 bore bullets, a 50-yard silk rope coil used for planting mines, seven one-foot-long fuse sticks, 11 land mine buttons, 20 9-volt batteries, two wire coils, two fire tape coils, three packs of land mine-related items, one walkie-talkie (Type- RUIHONGLONG), and one walkie-talkie charger. These items were found hidden by so-called PDF terrorists in a farm located about one furlong east of the village hide by so-called PDF terrorists, it is reported.
      Likewise, at 11:30 AM, security personnel found and seized two homemade mortars, two motorcycle battery pots, and a wire rope approximately one and a half feet long from the right side of the Chaung U-Myinmu road, near the Forest Office of Gwaypintaw Village in Myinmu Township. These items had been hidden by the so-called PDF terrorists. In addition, four pot mines and a wire approximately seven feet long were found and seized from the left side of the Chaung U-Myinmu road, near a low-water crossing bridge which was about 300 meters east of Gwaypintaw Village, it is reported.
      Likewise, at 02:00 PM, security personnel found and seized one mortar and two motorcycle battery pots from the north side of the Chaung U- Monywar road, located at the exit of Chaung U Township, it is reported.
      It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade guns and related materials found in the above cases, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
