Homemade mines, arms, ammunition and Related Materials Intended for using in Terrorist Attacks were seized in Yesagyo Townships

To prevent terrorist attacks in various regions and states, ensure stability and peace in the region, enforce the rule of law, and ensure that people can live safely and peacefully, security forces are carrying out necessary security measures around the clock.
On 24 April at 12:15 PM, while security personnel were carrying out security measures near Kinemagyi Village of Yesagyo Township in Magway Region, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) opened fire small arms. When security personnel responded, the terrorists retreated to the north of the Village. Upon inspection near the scene, three homemade guns, two improvised mines, a 30-foot-long fuse coil and a motorcycle battery pot were found and seized from a non-residential house located near a Pagoda’s hill, it is reported.
It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade guns and related materials found in the above cases, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
