Homemade mines, Arms and Related Materials Intended for using in Terrorist Attacks were seized in Ayardaw and Yesagyo Townships

     To prevent terrorist attacks in various regions and states, ensure stability and peace in the region, enforce the rule of law, and ensure that people can live safely and peacefully, security forces are carrying out necessary security measures around the clock.
     On 28 May at 09:00 AM, while security personnel were carrying out security measures between Kanpyu Village and Waryaung Village in Ayardaw Township, Sagaing Region, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) attacked them with 40mm heavy weapon၊ small arms. Security personnel responded to them, causing the terrorists to retreat and flee towards Waryaung Village. Upon inspecting the scene, a hut measuring 50 feet in length and 40 feet in width, a kitchen, six homemade guns, 37 assorted homemade mines, an Energa bomb, 70 rounds of M-22 bullet, 30 rounds of 5.56 bullet, a flag with the Danger Force logo, three black shirts with the Danger Force logo and a PARADO motor vehicle were found and seized, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 02:45 PM, while security personnel were carrying out security measures between Ngatayaw Village and Moekwal Village in Yesagyo Township, Magway Region, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) launched an attack using heavy and small arms. The security personnel responded to them, causing the terrorists to retreat and flee towards Moekwal Village. Near the scene, a hut measuring 15x15 feet built with palm leaf roofing and bamboo floor, three improvised mortars, four homemade guns, a magazine of AK-47 gun, three hand phones, three dry batteries, three rounds of 12 Bore bullet, 29 rounds of 5.56 bullet, two fuse coils, five fires, a backpack and materials related to explosives were found and seized, it is reported.
     It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade guns and related materials found in the above cases, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
