On 6 May at 09:00 AM, security personnel carrying out security measures in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region. When they arrived near Yaypoesar monastery, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number - under scrutiny) attacked with small arms from fields located approximately 500 meters south of the location. Similarly, at 09:05 AM, five homemade mines and a motorcycle battery pot were discovered beside the left side of the Chaung-U_Monywa road located near Ngashan Village of Chaung-U Township. Additionally, at 10:20 AM, five homemade mines, a homemade mortar, two motorcycle battery pots and a 15-foot-long wire, were found and seized on the left side of the Chaung-U_Monywa Road located approximately 1000 meters east of Ngashan Village, it is reported.
Likewise, at 11:30 AM, 11 assorted homemade mines, a homemade mortar, a grenade, three bombs, three shells of car pot mine, a wire coil, two guerilla pants, two sets of guerilla boots, and five iron pipe barrels were found and seized in a non-residential house in Chinyetaung Village of Ayardaw Township, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 03:30 PM, two homemade mortars, 19 homemade mines made with PVC pipes, five motorcycle battery pots and a wire coil belonging to a so-called PDF terrorist group were found and seized near Duwon Village of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, it is reported.
It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade mines, arms and related materials found in the above cases, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
