On 7 May at 09:05 AM, while security personnel carrying out security measures near Natyaekan Village in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region, 10 assorted homemade mines, a mortar (under scrutiny), six motorcycle battery pots and a wire were found and seized on the left and right sides of the Chaung-U – Monywa Road, it is reported.
It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade mines, arms and related materials found in the above case, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
